Now I for one am not the best at Golf, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t take my chances at this place. Bad Caddy Golf is an indoor Golf simulator where you can hang out with your friends and make fun of each other’s backswings. But don’t think this spot is only for the die-hard golf lover, this place also has a restaurant and bar to get a good meal and a sweet cocktail to calm the nerves.
And if that’s not enough, they even have themed nights to get you and your crew in the mood to pound away a few brews and burgers while catching the game on the big screen. This place has it all if you’re looking for something different to do while also having enough excitement and food and drink to please everyone in your group.
Bad Caddy Golf is your go-to. One of the best night-time activities in Salt Lake City for sure.
Immersive Gamebox
Next up on the list is Immersive Gamebox, and man does this place look awesome! This place is everything its name says it is, at Gamebox you are surrounded by huge screens with games where you are interacting head-on with your game of choice in this heart-pounding game space. And just because you’re saving the universe from an alien threat doesn’t mean the drinks stop flowing.
You can request and have your order sent to you as you’re playing, to give you that extra boost to kick the evil villain’s butt. You’re going to get everything here, we’re talking old-school games like Angry Birds to recent cult classics like Squid Games, if you think you’re brave enough, Immersive Gamebox has every game for every skill set.
And don’t worry moms and dads, this hangout isn’t only for the young at heart, but for kids 5 and up, families, couples, and whoever is in your group and is itching to get down with some out-of-this-world game time, this is a one-stop shop. One of the best spots for date night in Salt Lake City.
Quarters Arcade Bar
I may be biased here, hence so many of the gamer locations, but for a night out, especially on a weeknight, you want to make sure you’re having the best time.
And that is where Quarters Arcade Bar comes in. This place is it if you are looking for that old school Arcade feel with all of the games and atmosphere, except now you get to have a drink while risking it all playing Skee-ball.
Quarters has a select choice of pinballs, skeeball, and foosball, a healthy choice of all those classic arcade games, the ones that require Quarters if you’re keeping score. All of those bright light and loud noise-producing machines that you used to beg your parents to let you play while they went shopping and you were bored out of your skull. It’s a quant spot, despite the said noise and bright lights, a place you can let your mind go, kick back with your friends and take a trip down memory lane.

Brewvies Cinema Pub
Man, oh man, if you are a foodie like me then make sure you’re paying attention because Brewvies Cinema Pub is next up on this list.
If you’re like me and you are always hungry, then this is a spot you can check off the list on a weekday night with the gang. Brewvies has everything, if you want to watch a new movie it’s a Cinema, if you want to shoot some pool or listen to some music, they got you covered with pool tables and a slick-looking jukebox. And as I said, if you want to come to a place where you are going to have your choice of a mountain of delicious food to stuff your face with, this needs to be on your list. I for one am happy going out as long as there’s food involved, no food, no me.
Brewvies has a menu full of that good pub food that will fill you up in a heartbeat. And drinks? Yes, they have drinks, plenty to keep you focused on your next shot at the pool table. The atmosphere is as chill as any other movie-going experience but it’s enhanced with that good old pub feeling that makes Brewvies a must on your night out.

Scion Cider Bar
Drinks, all around! Here is a place where you and your date can get to know each other while taking a sip and discovering some new drinks. Scion Cider Bar is, well, a Cider Bar, a place where one can find the next best cider or just try a bunch of new ones that they might never have if they didn’t stop by this locally owned and operated, and hip, spot.
Now since it is very specific, this place is one for the adults, but that’s ok, mom and dad need a spot just for them too.
With both indoor and outdoor seating Scion Cider Bar is a different take on getting a drink, especially if you want to entertain your palate. If you’re really brave take up a few suggestions from those who’ve been before and can select a very tasty one, I hear the rose hard cider is good.

Quick Wits Comedy
Now for something for the class clowns on this list, if you want to take a break from the dreadfulness that is reality, come on down to Quick Wits Comedy, a club where the audience gets involved to create scenarios, thanks to the bear with me, quick wit of the actors, hilarious outcomes.
You’re not going to be bored when you come here, how can you be? These talented actors are ready to take you on a trip that will surely make you want to come back for a second show.

Dave & Busters
You can’t go wrong with Dave & Busters, how can you? It is the place to be for being a kid again while sitting on a drink or two. With a multitude of games, all the good ones, and we’re talking racing games, shoot-out games, classic arcade standbys, and new and up-and-coming games, this is the place to be if you want to make the time fly by on a night out.
And say games aren’t for you, that’s ok because D&B has an enormous bar with countless TVs, all with just about every sports matchup one could think of. Take a drink and slow down at the bar, and order a mouth-watering burger, sandwich, steak, or whatever you are in the mood for, this place has It all.
The State Room
Now this one is for all those who want to take in some good music in a chill atmosphere-like location.
The State Room allows you to take in some good music and be up close with the singers and artists who perform there. And even those it is a music venue the sound quality isn’t going to make you feel like your ears are going to explode, this place is known to be a go-to for your local music fix, but also has a relaxed, intimate feel all wrapped in one. It’s a 21-and-up crowd too so you can come here and come down from the day without having to worry about the little ones.
There’s nothing like taking in some good music, having a drink or two with your partner and taking in a show with some up-and-coming talent that will surely take your mind off any and everything else.
Off-Broadway Theater
Who doesn’t like to take in a show? Well then this is the place for you and yes, even the whole family. Off-Broadway Theater is where you want to be if you want to laugh your head off and be entertained by some very talented performers.
Though this location is only open on select days, don’t let that steer you from getting tickets! On nights they are open you are in for a treat unlike any other. Be ready to laugh at renditions of classic movies and plays with a new spin that will surely have you coming back for an encore.

Yum. Yum. Yum. That’s how I have to start this next one because the foodie in me won’t let me start it any other way. All of my foodie brethren rejoice because Franklin Ave Cocktails & Kitchen is where you need to be for a tummy-busting date night like no other.
Some people are good with just having drinks while going out, but I am not one of those people. Food is the key to a good, no, great night out.
At Franklin’s you are going to get your money’s worth, this place has such a detailed menu that you’d have to come back for days on end to try everything they have to offer. From huge, mouthwatering, burgers and sandwiches, to steaks, loaded salads, dips, and chips several sides and desserts, because you can’t forget about dessert!

When it’s time to go out for a night on the town, a night that will be one for the books, it’s time to party up and Dubaiut. Where can you go wrong with a place like this, it is your typical heart-pounding club spot where you can dance your troubles away and take those Instagram-worthy photos that will make your coworkers jealous.
Another locally owned and operated club that can offer live music and private events, this is it if you want to have a great blowout birthday party or office party or if you want an excuse to have a celebration where you are treated like royalty, then look no further.
And don’t worry if you don’t want to bring the squad on a night like this, what if you and your partner want to get dressed up to the nines, head to toe hair done, nice clothes, shoes shinning, Dubaiut can also be a romantic and intimate setting for just the two of you. Don’t be afraid to ask for drinks or bottles at a place like this, it’s the kind of place where your drinks are going to be as flashy as your outfit.
This is the spot to cut loose and forget it all.
Westerner Dancehall Bar and Grill
Throw on those boots, dust that cowboy hat off, and grab the girls and the guys because next up on this list is Westerner Dancehall Bar and Grill. With a long name like that, you know this place has got to be good. Though they are open on select nights of the week, who can argue with a good dance hall? Matter of fact, when was the last time you been to a dance hall?
Have you ever been to one? If the answer to that last question is no, then here is your official invitation. At Westerner you’re going to get everything you could ask for, for a memorable night out and then some.
If you are into hearty, bar food, drinks that will keep you loose and headed for the dance floor with no inhibitions, a game area where you can shoot your mouth off and some pool at the same time, and music that will have you line dancing to songs you might not have ever heard of, this is your go-to spot. It’s a dancehall if I haven’t already mentioned that a few times, so get ready to head out onto the floor with everybody else and show them what you got!

And we are back to gaming once again! A brief 20-minute drive from Salt Lake, All-Star Bowling and Entertainment is worth the drive.
We are talking about games, games, and more games! And here you can even win prizes! What grown adult doesn’t want that? At All-Star, you can do everything from axe throwing to even bumper cars, yes bumper cars. You are going to get it all here, bowling, claw machines, pinball, laser tag, those old-school arcade games we’ve already talked about and did I mention the bumper cars?
They have those too. With a fun and energetic atmosphere, how can you go wrong on a date night here? And bring your appetite because this place has something for even the pickiest eater. Just looking at the photos of the food here is going to make you want to grab your keys and head out the door.
We’re talking nachos, burgers, amazing sides, and snacks and drinks to keep you from ever getting thirsty as long as you’re gaming here. And yes, even though this is a few minutes from Salt Lake, All-Star Bowling and Entertainment is worth every mile it takes to get here.
Club 90
The last spot on this list is Club 90, and honestly, how can you go wrong with a club for a night out? However, this isn’t like your regular club, this is more like an entertainment hub than a club and they mean to give you a show.
At this spot, you are going to get bingo nights, karaoke, burlesque shows, DJ spinning tracks, and a band that plays for more of an intimate chance to hear music, if that’s more to your liking. And don’t worry you won’t go hungry at a place like this.
Here you can order anything from nachos to munch on to wings to fulfilling salads, and of course, no ‘club’ would be complete with a round of drinks that will be satisfying but also won’t tug at the purse strings, which will leave you plenty of time to go and surround yourself with the crowd as they too partake in the controlled chaos that is Club 90.
Go Stargazing at Clarke Planetarium
One unique idea is to visit the Clark Planetarium. The Planetarium offers several interactive shows and exhibits, including an immersive laser light show.
At night, the Clark Planetarium offers a variety of shows and exhibits. Visitors can enjoy a full–dome theater show, a state–of–the–art laser light show, and a variety of interactive exhibits.
The full–dome theater shows a variety of films, from educational documentaries to entertaining science fiction movies. The laser light show is a mesmerizing experience that takes guests through a journey of light and sound.
There are also interactive exhibits that allow visitors to explore the night sky and the stars and planets that make it up. The Planetarium is a great place to explore the wonders of space in an engaging and educational environment.

After reading a list like this I bet you’re pretty interested in hanging out at some of these locations, or at the very least, your stomach is rumbling for one of the many memorable bites to eat somewhere here on this list
Salt Lake City nightlife has so much to offer it hardly seems fair to just sum it down to only 14 locations, even though these spots are all of them, unique, engaging, and entertaining, in their own right.
These were the top spots that I’ve enjoyed and found to be the best for the money but I say, one night this week or the next, take your time and take your partner or friends or just yourself out on a night on the town for some incredible food, hilarious shows, intimate music performances, and old school gaming fun that you could get anywhere, but why would you want to go anywhere else?
Salt Lake City has it all.
